Difference between open side container and general dry container.

Here we discuss about the difference between general dry container and open side container.

One of the main differences between a general containers and open side container is that, unlike in normal dry container, open sided container has two sets of double door at the lengthy side. Such two doors are arranged to open the entire length of the container with complete access to the container for loading and unloading. However, in exceptional cases, three doors open sided container is also manufactured to facilitate customers to meet their requirements. The side doors are manufactured to open either an eight feet opening or a twenty feet opening for a 20’ container as per requirements. Compared to general dry container, oversized equipment can be fit perfectly in to open sided container.

Compared to general container, the area (space) can be utilized effectively in open sided container. Another difference between general dry container and open sided container is that, in an open sided container, the loading and unloading is very easy as it has side opening arrangements.

If open side container is compared to normal container, in an open side container, the storing of goods is easier without offloading all goods from the container. . The bigger size of goods can be easily fit in to a open side container unlike other standard container.
